Grand Hotel La Croisette - Cannes, France

The Grand Hotel stands on the most desirable location in Cannes, facing out to sea along the famous palm tree lined Boulevard de la Croisette. Completely renovated in 2006 in a post-modern architectural style, the hotel is located close to the Convention Centre, upon which the Glitterati descend not only for the Film Festival, but for countless other prestigious events throughout the year. The hotel more than meets Cannes’ jet set image, allowing you to live it up in the clubs, casinos, bars and restaurants which twinkle brightly along the famous promenade. At the front of the hotel, balconied rooms look out onto sweeping garden terraces and beyond to the expensive yachts which sail slowly across the bay. Step through the gardens onto the hotel’s private beach – only a handful of Cannes hotels have these – where you’ll be indulged by the staff of the beachside Restaurant de la Plage, where Mediterranean dishes and seafood is served either inside, or outdoors on the terrace overlooking the blue horizon. Here there are sun beds and parasols all in the hotel’s reassuringly exclusive colours and motifs, where you can sunbathe, swim, or take waterskiing and diving lessons as the mood takes you.

Rooms
The 76 air-conditioned bedrooms and suites all have either sea or mountain views and feature high speed television Internet access. Rates from EUR 200.
