Imperial Hotel Osaka - Japan

Inspired by the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, the Imperial Hotel Osaka has a grand, aristocratic design and a glorious riverfront-parkside location. Its central Osaka position puts you at the heart of the sightseeing action, with Osaka Castle Park, the Temmangu Shrine, Osaka Aquarium and Universal Studios Japan all nearby. The main shopping area of Kita-ku is within walking distance – a fascinating underground maze of malls, shops and restaurants in surprising contrast to the skyscrapers above. Despite its urban location, the hotel has an extensive leisure complex with everything from an indoor pool to outdoor tennis courts – a haven of fitness and well being. Post-exercise, make sure you enjoy the massage service. The views of the Okawa River and cityscape from the elegant rooms and opulent suites are exceptional while the Imperial floor rooms enjoy a separate concierge service and special floor keys for added privacy. You will find a superb selection of fine French, speciality Teppanyaki and sushi in the hotel’s six restaurants. The cosy, wood-panelled Old Imperial Bar and the Rainbow Lounge, with its sparkling view of the river below, are both magical places in which to enjoy a glass of sake.
